Resident Courage
Chapter 1: Nowhere

We see Muriel, Eustace, and Courage, driving along the Spanish countryside. Once again Muriel won another vacation, this time for a glorious week in Spain, but the only problem, they're lost.
"Eustace, are you sure you know where we are." Asked Muriel.
"Yeah. Stop questioning my sense of direction." Said Eustace.
Courage looked out the window at the Spanish countryside, and shivered. The landscape seemed to be getting creepier and creepier. The forest they were driving through was turning a sickly shade of brown and the trees looked very dead. And a strange fog seemed to be getting thicker and thicker.
"How can you see anything in all this fog." Said Muriel, "Face it man, we're lost!"
"We're not lost!" shouted Eustace "I'm just not 100% percent sure where we are."
"Sense of direction, indeed."
"Don't start with me Muriel!"
"You're so stubborn! Why don't you just stop and ask for directions."
"Because I don't need directions."
"You just said-" BAM a figure hit the truck. All three screamed as the truck swerved and crashed into a tree. " I think you just hit something, or someone."
"My truck!" Eustace screamed, as they all got out of the truck. Courage saw a small house in the distance, there seemed to be smoke coming from the chimney. Being as scared as he was, he knew they needed help and walked toward the house.

Courage made it to the house and entered it. He heard an agonizing cough from inside. Courage, shaking, proceeded into the house, he saw a man tending a fire. Courage awkwardly walked up to the man and taped him on the back. The man turned around slowly and glared at Courage.
"Ohhhhhh!" Courage yelped. He then calmed down a little and tried explaining their current situation in his usual way, by morphing into objects. He morphed into a truck, and crashed into the wall. He continued to spout his jiberish to the man and finally stopped to see what he'd do.
The man shouted something to Courage in Spanish, which Courage didn't understand but meant something along the lines of  "Get out of here you crazy mutt!" Courage, still trying to comprehend what the man said to him, didn't notice the man rush at him. Courage Quickly dodged the man screamed and ran away.
"What's going on here?" asked Courage.
"Well that didn't sound very polite." Courage could hear Muriel say. Then he heard a loud Spanish voice followed by Muriel screaming "Oh My! Put me down! Put me down!" Followed by Eustace shouting,
"Hey. What are you doing? Get your hands off of me!"
"Muriel!" Courage shouted, and ran towards the commotion, but not before stepping right into a bear trap. "YEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" he screamed, and began trying to escape.
"Ohhhhhaaahhahhhh! Wouldn't you rather have tea instead!" shouted Muriel
"Muriel! Muriel I'll save you!" Shouted Courage. But as much as he tried, Courage couldn't get out of the bear trap. He couldn't even morph out of it. And he just stood there with a splitting pain in his leg as he listened to Muriel and Eustace being dragged away by the unseen people. Courage stood there whining, as he listened to their screams for help slowly fade into the distance.
